Birth Registration Appointment
The birth of your baby must be registered within 42 days (6 weeks).
Births should only be registered in the district in which they occured. If your baby was born outside of the Sutton registration district, you will need to contact the child's birth district to arrange an appointment and order a birth certificate.

By proceeding you are confirming that you have read and understand the following:
• I understand that only babies born in Sutton can be registered at Sutton Register Office.
• I have decided on the baby's full name and understand that it is not always possible to change the name in the future.

Once your appointment has been made you will be given a reference number; please keep this safe as it will be required if you wish to amend or cancel your appointment.
The fee of £11 is redeemable against the birth certificate. If you do not attend your appointment or cannot register for any reason the £11 is retained as a booking fee.
